With Thanksgiving travel expected to bring a surge of vehicles to Northwest Indiana roadways, troopers from the Indiana State Police Lowell Post conducted a targeted traffic enforcement blitz on Tuesday.
At approximately 2:30 p.m. this afternoon, troopers responded to a serious crash on I-65 southbound at the 255.9 mile-marker, approximately one mile north of 61st Avenue. The crash involved two vehicles and a pedestrian working along the shoulder.
