Montgomery County - Yesterday evening (9/27/2020), just before 8:45 p.m., the Indiana State Police responded to a multi-vehicle crash on SR 47 near CR 700S. Three vehicles and five people were involved in the crash, four of which were transported to a local hospital with injuries, where one was later pronounced deceased.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation named the Chicago Fire Football Club a finalist in the 21st annual Citizens Awards, a long-standing program that honors businesses for the impact they make in communities around the world. Chicago Fire FC, specifically through the Chicago Fire Foundation, was nominated in the category of Best Commitment to Education Program. This is the first time in 21 years that a sports team has been named a finalist in this category.
Tippecanoe County - Earlier this evening (9/28/2020), around 5:30 p.m., Trooper Matthew Clemans had stopped a white 2018 Dodge Charger on I-65, southbound near the 171 mile marker, for multiple traffic violations. Further investigation would reveal that the driver, Nathaniel Chavoues, 23 of Lexington, KY, did not have a valid driver's license.
