 January 6 - March 10

As the Page Turns is LCPL's new forum-style book club where you can drop in and join the discussion whenever you have a moment. It's perfect for busy readers!

We'll read one book over the course of two months so you'll have plenty of time to get caught up. Plus, Full Access cardholders can download the ebook from a special no-waiting collection just for As the Page Turns members.

Our first read will be The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller. Club members will have the chance to vote on future reads.

Sound like the club for you? Sign up here!

You Asked, We Answered!A question mark with a mouse pointer hand clicking it. Text reads Ask a Librarian

Question: Do you have any materials on how to do graphic drawing?

Answer: We have books of course, but also a database called LinkedIn Learning that has video courses that can teach you graphic drawing!

For books, head to the reference section of your favorite library and look for books numbered 741. For graphic novel/comic-style drawing, you'll want 741.5 but illustration in general goes all the way to 743.

For LinkedIn Learning, just hit the link and log in with your library card and PIN. You can start by searching "drawing," or try a more specific keyword to narrow down your results.
