The La Porte County Symphony Orchestra is pleased to present the fourth concert of its 53rd season on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 7:00 pm at the La Porte Civic Auditorium at 1001 Ridge Street in La Porte. This American-inspired show stars multi-talented, multi-award winning singer/actor/pianist Craig A. Meyer and includes US Billboard hits such as Philadelphia Freedom, Candle in the Wind, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Don’t Go Breaking My Heart inspired by Motown, and US No. 1 hit Benny and the Jets. Broadway hits from The Lion King and Aida are also featured in this high-energy production, all backed by the talented musicians of the La Porte County Symphony Orchestra.

A celebration of the character, costumes, and charisma of the famed pianist and singer, Meyer’s fully produced show has captivated audiences throughout the United States and internationally. Barry Manilow says “Craig A Meyer is one of the most talented people I’ve ever worked with. About the La Porte County Symphony Orchestra

The La Porte County Symphony Orchestra is a cornerstone of the vibrant arts landscape in Northwest Indiana. The orchestra serves the 110,000 residents of La Porte County and regions beyond, including Southwest Michigan. Now in its 53rd season, the LCSO has grown from a small community orchestra into a dynamic, professional organization of 60 musicians serving audiences from seven counties. Each year, the orchestra presents four subscription concerts, in addition to the Hoosier Star and Holiday at the Pops concerts. The LCSO's music education programming includes the annual Drayton Family Children's Education Concerts, which serve over 5,000 students each year, in addition to a Student Apprentice Program for high school musicians and numerous collaborations with area schools.
