**UPDATE** It is with great sadness that I must report that this afternoon, INDOT workers located what is believed to be the remains of "Jack", the service dog that was reported missing this morning. It is believed that he sustained fatal injuries at the time of the original crash. Our condolences go out to the family. We appreciate the many phone calls we received from concerned citizens that offered to help locate Jack.
** Somewhat Recommended ** I’ve had a difficult time writing a review of “Dana H”, a performance I’d call ‘reality stage’. It was obvious from the applause that some people in the audience really liked it but it definitely wasn’t the show for me. The subject matter is so gruesome my friend Helen had nightmares. 2 Spotlights
***RECOMMENDED*** Cambridge University, while largely recognized as one of the world's best academic institutions for obtaining a solid education, has never really been considered a particularly progressive place of study. In the hundreds of years of its history (well over 700), it finally allowed women to enroll as students in 1869, with the foundation of Girton College, created specifically for the bright and fiercely driven women who desired a level of higher learning. While these women were allowed to study, there was no formal degree that they were granted upon the completion of their course work, unlike their male counterparts. This historical injustice is explored in Promethean Theatre Ensemble's Chicago premiere of playwright Jessica Swale's "Blue Stockings," a highly entertaining and refreshingly enlightening play. 3 AND 1/2 SPOTLIGHTS
**** Recommended **** Theatre at the Center’s production of “Pajama Game” is a whole lot of fun. It’s a light rom-com romp with really good music. The leads might have fallen in love a little faster than the speed of light, but that just adds to the fun. The talented cast is having a wonderful time, you will too. 4 Spotlights
