Seedlings Theatre Company is excited to bring a beloved creative community building experience back to the community!
🎭 The 24 Hr. Plays Hebron

🗓️ Friday, March 13 at 7 pm – Saturday, March 14 at 7 pm
While this type of event hasn’t happened locally in over a decade, Seedlings is thrilled to reintroduce it to Northwest Indiana with the support of The HUB NWI.
On Friday night, all participants gather for a meet-and-greet. Everyone introduces themselves, actors bring fun costume pieces or interesting items that might inspire a story, and writers and directors cast their shows and talk through initial ideas.
Then the writers head home and write through the night.
By early Saturday morning, scripts are turned in. Actors, designers, and directors return, and the whirlwind begins. Rehearsing. Designing. Memorizing. Problem-solving. Creating.
Twenty-four hours after we begin, the audience arrives and the curtain goes up on six brand-new short plays.

✨ All ages welcome (children 12 & under attend with a parent/guardian)
✨ Food and snacks provided throughout the event
We are seeking:
* Writers and directors (capped at 6 each)
* Actors
* Designers and stage managers
* Event and hospitality volunteers
This is an incredible introduction to what it takes to put on a show and a perfect opportunity for artists whose schedules don’t allow for long rehearsal processes. Families and multigenerational groups are warmly encouraged to participate together.

Saturday night’s performance will be open to the public, with $20 tickets that include a signature mocktail drink coupon. Right now, our focus is building the creative teams who will bring these plays to life.
