  1. Home

Mon, 11/23/2020 - 5:58pm by laughingcat

We are thrilled to bring our annual Enchanted Evening event to a virtual format, complete with dancing, music, and stories. The Joffrey Academy of Dance's Trish Strong will lead a class of young dancers and dance enthusiasts on a Nutcracker journey, complete with special guest appearances from The Joffrey Ballet Company Artists Edson Barbosa and Julia Rust!

Tickets ($15) may be purchased for either of the following dates: Enchanted Evening Tickets

Ages 4-6: Friday, December 4th from 6:30-7:30 PM (CST)

Ages 7-9: Friday, December 11th from 6:30-7:30 PM (CST)

A Zoom link will be emailed to all registered participants 24 hours prior to the event.

Dancers will be admitted from a 'waiting room' on Zoom beginning 10 minutes prior to the event. Please change your Zoom name to match the name used during registration so your dancer can be identified.

What your dancer needs:

  • An electronic device that can connect to Zoom
  • A charger for your device
  • A small space clear of any items that could get in the way
  • Dance attire is not required; participants may wear their choice of clothing that is comfortable for dancing or moving

During the event:

  • Please enable the camera so our instructor can keep an eye on participants and keep the microphone muted
  • Families, please remain off-screen
  • For privacy reasons, please do not take photos or videos of the Zoom meeting

Thank you!
