This quarterly guide is packed full of programs, learning opportunities and spring time happenings planned for February through April. Here are just a few of the highlights coming up this spring:

  • Registration is now open for our Spring Break Camps! Explore the parks around the Indiana State Museum, experience camp in person or at home with Angel Mounds State Historic Site, create art outdoors at T.C. Steele State Historic Site and so much more.
  • Experience the astonishing beauty and discover the importance of Indiana’s biological diversity in a new experience. State of Nature: Picturing Indiana Biodiversity opens February 13 at the Indiana State Museum.
  • Spend a day at the Indiana State Museum with the whole family during the 18th annual GeoFest: Gem, Fossil and Mineral Show, race your car at Pinewood Derby®, the second greatest spectacle in racing, or bring your little one to celebrate Family Literacy Day.
  • Visit our historic sites all across the state. Learn more about the world around you during Homeschool Thursdays at T.C. Steele, hunt for eggs during the annual Egg Extravaganza at Lanier Mansion, find out how to trace your family’s lineage at the Genealogy Workshop at Culbertson Mansion and so much more!
