It's been three long months since our last SmoothChicago.com Jazz concert.
While we wait to get the green light for the Jazz shows to resume, we are planning for the future and we look forward to seeing everyone soon!
At this point, it looks like the fourth weekend in September is when we will be back and that is what we are planning for. That is more than 90 days from today and we are told it currently looks GREAT for September Jazz Bash Weekend. At that point, summer will be over, but we will do our best to make up for the lost time and missed shows.
On Friday September 25, 2020 we kick things off with guitarist Gerey Johnson front and center, hosting two DIFFERENT shows both for one ticket. There will be some VERY special surprise guests joining Gerey. Then on Saturday September 26th - two of the biggest names in "Smooth Jazz" - Peter White & Rick Braun will each be with us for two GREAT, high energy, fun shows.
Now, here is the reason to get your tickets ASAP. With ALL upcoming fall shows being more than 90 days away, we are not 100% sure what additional steps will need to be taken depending on what (Co-Vid 19 recovery) phase we are in. But, one thing we are doing now with ALL shows now thru December 30th, 2020 - is we are reducing showroom capacity by 30% (of available seats) by removing a significant amount of tables and chairs from the showroom. Less seats means more space for those in attendance, but it also means less available tickets.
So please get your tickets to our fall and winter jazz shows early. It will also GREATLY help our cash flow (which has been non-existent these past three months) as we all work to get back to whatever our new normal is.
We'll have more info on what other steps we are taking as we get closer to our September shows.
As far as the April, May & June shows that needed to be (and have been) rescheduled, if you have tickets for any of these missed shows, those same tickets are valid for the new dates - which are all now listed on the SmoothChicago.com website @ https://SmoothChicago.com/UpcomingShows.html
