Providing an antidote to the winter blues, ChillFest pop-up music festival returns in February 2020, bringing 30+ local musicians into dozens of storefronts in Wicker Park and Bucktown. Guests can enjoy free acoustic sets while visiting stores throughout the neighborhoods, in this seventh annual festival presented by the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce.
During ChillFest on February 8, 2020, from 2 - 6 p.m. attendees can stroll from venue to venue, taking in live music sets while shopping, sitting down for a drink or even getting a salon treatment! Past host venues have included local boutiques, restaurants, spas, pet shops and gas stations. Each business hosts 1-2 artists in a dedicated portion of their space, with musicians playing 30- to 60-minute sets, paired as closely as possible to the venue’s ambiance and requested genre.
