Neil Samahon Appointed to Indiana Medicaid Beneficiary Advisory Committee
Opportunity Enterprises (OE) is proud to announce that President & CEO, Neil Samahon, has been appointed to serve on the Family and Social Services Administration’s (FSSA) Medicaid Beneficiary Advisory Committee (BAC). This committee plays a critical role in the broader Medicaid Advisory Committee (MAC) which will provide feedback on current and proposed program policies to help shape the future of a Medicaid program that is effective, sustainable, and accountable.
The BAC is composed of current Medicaid recipients or their family members/caregivers. Neil has a daughter, Ashley, who has a developmental disability. Ashley is a proud employee of Do Goodies, a social enterprise of Opportunity Enterprises that empowers individuals of all abilities through meaningful employment.
“I’m honored to serve on the Beneficiary Advisory Committee and bring the lived experience of families like mine to the table,” states Samahon. “I hope to provide valuable perspective and feedback that can help shape the future of Medicaid programs.”
