
The Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce the second half of its 2025–2026 season, featuring a diverse lineup of performances that celebrate storytelling, imagination, reflection, and iconic music. From an intimate matinee with the Maestro to an electrifying tribute to Tina Turner, the spring season offers something for every music lover.
The season resumes on Sunday, February 15 at 2:30pm at Theatre at the Center with Stories with the Maestro, a relaxed matinee experience where Music Director Kirk Muspratt steps away from the podium to share personal stories, musical insights, and behind-the-scenes moments from his journey in music. This conversational event offers audiences a unique and intimate connection to the Symphony and its leadership.
On Friday, March 6 at 7:30pm at Living Hope Church the Orchestra presents Spellbound, an evening concert featuring the evocative and dramatic works of Prokofiev and Stravinsky. Inspired by fairytales and myth, including Cinderella and The Firebird, this program highlights the power of orchestral music to tell vivid, imaginative stories. Phil Potempa will narrate.
The Symphony Chorus takes center stage on Sunday, March 29 at 2:30pm at Theatre at the Center with Dan Forrest’s Requiem for the Living. This modern Requiem is a deeply moving and hopeful work that has resonated with audiences worldwide for its emotional depth and contemporary voice.
The season concludes on a high-energy note on Friday, May 22 at 7:30pm at Hard Rock Live with The Music of Tina Turner. This dynamic concert celebrates the legendary artist’s unforgettable songs, powerful spirit, and lasting influence across generations. Superstar singers LaKisha Jones, Nova Y. Payton, and Armando Imagines will take you on a journey through Tina Turner’s legendary musical career.
Tickets range from $49 - $89 for the season concerts, and $30 general admission for the Sunday afternoon concerts. Students are just $10 for all concerts. GROUP SALES ARE AVAILABLE AT A DISCOUNT beginning at 10 people.
