“Sasha” has joined the staff of Wilbur Wright Middle School. Sasha is a Golden German Shepherd mini and is certified therapy dog to assist the students and staff of the school when needed.
Sasha will be handled by both Wilbur Wright Middle School Resource Officer Kevin Cooley and Natalie Metzger, Assistant to the Principal, who both recently went through a week of training with Sasha in Florida. When not at the school, Sasha will live with Metzger. It should be noted that Sasha is not a member of the Munster Police Department’s K-9 Unit and is the property of the School Town of Munster.
We look forward to the great work that Sasha will be doing at the school during the coming years and to the support and positive spirit that she will provide at the school.
