
The Munster Police Department and Choice Community Council are now seeking donations towards Munster’s 31st Annual National Night Out Celebration, which is scheduled for Tuesday, August 4th.
The National Night Out is held each August to promote positive police and community partnerships through a large variety of both fun and educational activities for all ages while also promoting safety in our community.

Our event annually brings together our first responders, parks, schools, faith-based groups, businesses, and community service organizations for a fun evening. Last year’s event was ranked as the #1 National Night Out event in the United States (for our population category) by the National Association of Town Watch thanks to great support from our community, and we need your support to make it another fun and successful event this year.
The event is completely funded through donations each year and we will be collecting them through June 14th. If you would like to provide a monetary donation, please make checks payable to the Town of Munster (memo: NNO) and either mail or drop them off to the Munster Police Department, c/o Sgt.
