
According to founder Creola Hampton, small business owners and non-profits can elevate their levels of operation and sustainability through the mentoring and financial support that IBP programs will provide.
“We will connect Iconic Black People to aspiring Black entrepreneurs with a major focus on the overall well-being of Black communities,” said Hampton. “We’ll nurture great minds and empower community-based organizations to make an even greater impact in the communities they serve.”
Purchase Iconic Black People Apparel
An impressive line-up of IBP apparel has been developed to provide greater visibility and awareness of the brand. The Iconic Black People collection includes t-shirts, hoodies and masks. Proceeds from apparel sales benefit entrepreneurs and organizations, selected from those nominated by the public, with sustainability services and financial support. As an introductory offer, shipping is FREE on all orders through December 31, 2020.
Nominate an Entrepreneur or Organization
The community is encouraged to nominate entrepreneurs and community-based organizations to receive mentoring from established professionals and access to capital.
Twice a Year, six (6) Iconic Black People will be honored during an awards ceremony. Black entrepreneurs and leaders of Black-led community-based organizations will be selected from those nominated on the IBP website. Awards will be presented to 18 of those nominated -- 3 Black entrepreneurs in 6 selected categories. The 18 recipients will benefit by having a mentorship session with a successful Iconic Black Person. In addition, each will receive $1,500 in support of their business venture.
Selected Community-based organizations will receive free capacity-building assistance services for a six-month period Ultimately, IBP will "connect" leading, successfully reverenced and influential Black people with aspiring Black people of various backgrounds to help them become "Iconic" in their own right.

Led by a passion to celebrate the lives and successes of successful “Iconic” Black Men & Women, the body will guide efforts to connect Black entrepreneurs and community-based organizations to resources as they become Iconic in their own right.
