
Rosemont, Ill. – Rosemont’s Parkway Bank Park entertainment district is thrilled to kick off the holiday season with the return of its Chicago Wolves Ice Rink Friday, Nov. 29. Visitors can enjoy ice skating beginning at 11 a.m.
“The Chicago Wolves Ice Rink has quickly become a winter tradition for Rosemont’s visitors,” said Rosemont Mayor Brad Stephens. “The addition of the ice rink to Parkway Bank Park’s incredible dining and entertainment offerings provides festive memories for all ages during the holiday season.”
The rink will be open every day through January 5, 2020. In addition to special holiday hours, the rink will also be open on Sundays through February 23, 2020.
Families can enjoy a special “Characters on Ice” skate from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. every Sunday throughout the month of December. Presented by Xfinity, children ages 12 and under are invited to visit the rink early and skate with their families alongside some of their favorite characters including:
- Cinderella & The Prince (Dec. 1)
- Anna & Kristoff (Dec. 8)
- Batman & Catwoman (Dec. 15)
- Santa Claus & Mrs. Claus (Dec. 22)
- Peter Pan & Captain Hook (Dec. 29)
Admission to the Chicago Wolves Ice Rink is free. Guests are invited to bring their own skates. Skate rentals are also available on-site for $8. Below is a detailed schedule of ice skating hours:

- November 29: 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
- Mondays – Fridays: 4 p.m. – 10 p.m.
- Saturday: 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
- Sunday: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. (Characters on Ice begins at 9 a.m. on Sundays in December)
Ice Skating Special Holiday Hours: December 21 - January 5
- Mondays – Saturdays: 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
- Sunday: 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- Christmas Eve: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
