Footlight Players is pleased to announce their latest production, “I Regret Nothing,” a dark, funny, and chilling show written by award winning Romanian playwright Csaba Székely. It is a bone chilling show with a shocking ending.

“I Regret Nothing” is a two-act play with a cast of three people. Set in Romania in the summer of 2006, it is the story of a doomed man who has a chance for redemption when he befriends a young woman and is presented with an opportunity from an old colleague. Grant Fitch plays Dominic, a former member of the Romanian secret police, who is unexpectedly visited by his former colleague, Alex. Played by Alexander Bonner, Alex may have sinister intentions. Meanwhile, Dominic develops a friendship with Liza (played by Auriel Lark Felsecker), his odd upstairs teen neighbor with an obsession about dogs. The cast is rounded out with Alayna Lauritsen and Herbert Lemonger lending voice talent to additional offstage characters.
This is local actor and director John Hutchinson's second time directing this show. Hutchinson is passionate about this show, having been in contact with the playwright himself. He is excited to bring his darkly disturbing vision of Székely’s work to the local stage, again!
