The Director Jan Rice is looking for 6 charismatic actresses to play the wonderful characters in the play. The story is about Truvy Jones, who runs a successful beauty salon in Chinquapin, Louisiana, where all the ladies of the town have a regular appointment. While they make their ways through life’s many hurdles, some heartfelt, some hysterical, they find comfort in the life-long friendships the have made with each other.
Audition dates are Sunday, March 8th and Monday March 9th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the theater. You will be asked to do cold line readings from the script.
