In response to the continuing health issues, and in accordance with their commitment to maintaining a safe environment for their employees and patrons, First Folio Theatre has announced that they are postponing the final production of the 2020-2021 season. The spring production of JANE AUSTEN’S EMMA, by Phil Timberlake, will be postponed until April 2022.
First Folio had already postponed the first two productions of their season (the fall production of THE JIGSAW BRIDE: A Frankenstein Story, by Joseph Zettelmaier, and the winter production of THE SECRET COUNCIL, adapted by David Rice) to next season. Exact schedules will be determined at a later date. Ticket holders will be contacted when those schedules have been announced and will be able to exchange their tickets for a new date at that time.
In the meantime, First Folio is preparing its Winter Reading Series, which will feature a number of First Folio Artistic Associates reading some of their favorite stories and poems. The series will premiere the week after Thanksgiving and will be available free online through the end of December. More information will be available on the First Folio website at the end of November.
First Folio also has gift certificates available for your holiday giving! All information is available at www.firstfolio.org
