First on the agenda is their all-new Winter Reading Series, which will be available to stream on the First Folio YouTube channel. First Folio Artistic Associates and other special guests are busy as elves right now preparing several special winter-themed videos to be streamed during the month of December, free of charge. These will include works geared to a variety of winter holidays as well as non-holiday offerings, ranging from an excerpt from THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS to Robert Frost’s “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening”.

The first two videos were released the week after Thanksgiving and two more videos will be added each week through the end of December. All readings will be family friendly. This special holiday series is made possible through the generosity of David and Susan Weidenfeld.
Once theaters are able to open again, First Folio Theatre looks forward to returning to full production, with its usual blend of comedy, drama, and gothic suspense, including the world premiere of Agatha Christie’s The Secret Council. All performances take place at Mayslake Hall, on the grounds of the Mayslake Peabody Estate, located at 1717 31st St., off Rt. 83, in Oak Brook. Advance tickets are on sale now and may be purchased by calling the box office at 630.986.8067 or online at www.firstfolio.org
