Edinburgh Correctional Officer David Hanna was recently presented with an Indiana Department of Correction Training Coin by Central Regional Training Manager Kathy Goen for his hard work and dedication as Field Training Officer. Officer Hanna has over 26 years of experience in corrections and enjoys assisting new incoming correctional officers during their on the job training phase assisting them in learning daily duties and encouraging career development with the Indiana Department of Correction.
Warden Osburn stated, “It is important for new correctional staff to be introduced to an experienced and positive mentor during the on the job training phase. I am very proud of this recognition for Officer Hanna by Staff Development and Training, it is well deserved.”
