Joe DiPietro (Book and Lyrics) and David Bryan (Music and Lyrics) have found the perfect recipe to pay homage to the cult classic, The Toxic Avenger. Take a dash of The Rocky Horror Show, add a pinch of Young Frankenstein and throw it into a vat of New Jersey toxic waste and what emerges is a musical comedy perfect for the season!
Can a blind librarian find love with a mutant super-hero, can the mayor be stopped from dumping toxic waste by Melvin Ferd the Third, can a cast of five create a boatload of characters and get through two hours of non-stop action and hilarity? You'll just have to join us and find out!
Director Mike Glorioso and his assistant, Adam Gustas have assembled a top notch cast for this production. Sandy Akers, Kelly Bourget, Nolan Mihal, and Jonathan Owens will be making their debut on the CST stage. Tyler Mills rounds out the quintet and will readily be recognized as Ash from last year's production of Evil Dead.
