This 3-week class will cover basic settings on a smartphone, quick camera access, and shooting modes (burst, panoramic, portrait, video, slow motion, time lapse, and self timer). Participants will also learn how to set focus and exposure lock, shoot in HDR mode, live mode, utilize location tagging, zoom, flash, and selfie mode. Other topics include stabilizing the camera, active focus, choosing background and lighting, and composition.
Each student is asked to bring their smart phone with them to class. The cost for Cell Phone Photography is $80, with members of the Art Center receiving a $20 discount.
