Just a heads up that due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict, Steppenwolf’s engagement of The Trouble with Angels (April 9 – 11, 2026) starring Jane Lynch, Kate Flannery and The Tony Guerrero Quartet has been cancelled.
In a statement, Jane Lynch said, “To my fellow Chicagoans and live-theatre enthusiasts, Jane Lynch here. So very sorry that we can’t make these shows at my beloved Steppenwolf Theatre. I’m shooting a pilot in LA and the schedule shifted. Not only is my family mad at me, but Kate Flannery and the boys aren’t speaking to me. They’ll all get over it. And we will be back! Thank you for supporting live theater and can’t wait to see you all soon!”
