This evening, June 16, 2022, the 82nd Indiana State Police Recruit Academy completed its graduation ceremony in the Indiana State Capitol Rotunda.

Mercury Theater Chicago announces Kristi J. Martens as its new managing director. Martens, who has been the production stage manager at Mercury Theater Chicago for the past ten years, joins the leadership team of Artistic Director Christopher Chase Carter and Executive Producers L. Presented by 1st Source Bank, the La Porte County Symphony Orchestra (LCSO) will present a concert on the 4th of July. This concert, which will be free to the public, will take place at the amphitheater in Fox Park in La Porte and will begin at 7:30 p.m. Fireworks, provided by the City of La Porte, will be over Clear Lake following the concert.
