The Indiana Department of Health (IDOH) announced today that COVID-19 vaccines for children ages 6 months up to age 5 are now available at some Indiana providers, expanding the population eligible to be protected against the disease. Shipments will continue to arrive at participating locations this week.

Porter County Career and Technical School students designed and built a Gaga Pit for Camp Lakeside. Camp Lakeside is a brand new camp located on Lake Eliza in Porter County.

On June 9, 2022, First Sergeant Terrance Weems graduated from the FBI National Academy. F/Sgt. Weems is the Assistant District Commander at the Lowell Post. The 282nd session of the National Academy consisted of 255 men and women from 47 states and the District of Columbia. The class included members of law enforcement agencies from 26 countries.
