Temperatures and curtains are rising this month as Chicagoland theaters welcome the summer season, including celebrations of Pride Month and Juneteenth. To highlight these productions, The League of Chicago Theatres recently published its Summer Theatre Guide, which includes 100+ shows running in the Chicago area through September.
