Randolph Entertainment, LLC, producers of CABARET ZAZOU, today announced that the production will complete its Chicago run Sunday, July 2 at the Cambria Hotel at 32 W. Randolph.
The critically hailed cabaret-style, immersive variety dining experience opened on September 8, 2022 in the opulent Spiegeltent ZaZou located on the boutique hotel’s 14th floor in Chicago’s theater district. The show, directed by Dreya Weber, best known for her work with superstars Madonna and Pink, stars long-standing audience favorites Frank Ferrante and LiV Warfield as they lead an exceptional international cast of multi-talented dancers, acrobats, circus artists, singers and other musicians performing in an intimate setting just feet from the audience. Visitors enjoy craft cocktails and dine on gourmet cuisine from Blue Plate Catering prior to and during the performance.
By the time the final curtain comes down, producers expect to have performed before 40,000 audience members at more than 200 performances. "It has been an honor to bring this world-class cabaret cirque to Chicago audiences," said Stan Feig, Executive Producer and Managing Partner. "We hope that over the remaining weeks, Chicagoans will take the opportunity to revisit this unique experience, or even see it for the first time."
Chicago Tribune critic Chris Jones highly recommended CABARET ZAZOU, describing it as “a Chicago-style cabaret, still with one foot in circus disciplines but now with a sultrier atmosphere, more soaked in music, the supper club gestalt and Chicago-style blues.” Catey Sullivan, writing for the Chicago Sun-Times, awarded the production four stars and called it “mind-blowing.”
