The Gary SouthShore RailCats followed Saturday’s offensive explosion with a thrilling 1-0 walk-off win in 10 innings over the Kane County Cougars on Sunday afternoon. 

Chicago Fire FC II (8-5-4-2, 30 points) came from behind twice in a 3-2 victory at Toronto FC II (6-8-4-0, 22 points) Sunday afternoon at York Lions Stadium in the province of Ontario. Forward Jason Shokalook scored twice in the span of three minutes to end the match, while winger Claudio Cassano added his fifth of the season for Chicago. Chicago Fire Academy goalkeeper David Molenda made 13 saves and earned the win in his MLS NEXT Pro debut.

Chicago Fire FC (9-9-5, 32 points) posted a 2-0 shutout against CF Montréal (3-15-6, 15 points) Saturday night at Stade Saputo. A night after letting a late lead slip away, the Gary SouthShore RailCats roared back in dramatic fashion. The RailCats routed the Kane County Cougars 13-6 on Saturday night at the Steel Yard to snap a six-game losing streak.

The Gary SouthShore RailCats announced today that Lamarr Rogers is no longer Field Manager of the organization. Additionally, the RailCats announce Jeff Isom as the fifth field manager in RailCats history. 

Rogers took over as the field manager of the RailCats prior to the 2022 season, after long-time manager Greg Tagert departed for a role with the San Francisco Giants organization. In his four seasons with the club, the RailCats had a record of 132-229.
