statement from Victory Gardens Theater regarding COVID-19

The health and safety of the Art Institute community is our highest priority. As such, the museum will close for two weeks beginning on March 14 so that we can thoroughly and thoughtfully respond to the escalating impact of COVID-19. We plan to reopen the museum on Saturday, March 28. All museum events—tours, lectures, performances, etc.—will remain on hiatus through April 10.

While there are presently no known cases of COVID-19 among staff or offenders housed at Indiana Department of Correction (IDOC) facilities, the previously announced suspension of visitations at specific prison locations has been extended to all facilities.

As mandated by Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker and local health officials, Drury Lane Theatre will be closed effective Friday, March 13 until Friday, May 1, 2020, to help combat the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus).

In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, The Den Theatre (1331 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago) today announced it will close its doors effective immediately and cancel all performances through Sunday, April 12, 2020.

A statement from Northlight Theatre: Based upon the recent guidance from the State of Illinois and the City of Chicago, Northlight will suspend performances of Intimate Apparel, effective immediately.
