Merrillville– The Lake County Public Library has been awarded a $1,400 CARES Act mini-grant through the Indiana State Library. This grant will go towards purchasing children's eBooks for aiding in the support of schools with students in K-12 that are learning through elearning and/or remote learning. The eBooks will be available through the SORA app, which is a student reading app that links directly to the Lake County Public Library with just their student ID.
