This morning (12/14/2020) at 12:02 a.m., Trooper Dennis Griffin was on patrol on I-80/94 in Lake County when he observed an orange Dodge Charger traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed near the 5.0 mile-marker. Using his vehicle’s radar, Trp. Griffin was able to check the vehicle’s speed at 98 m.p.h. on a posted 55 m.p.h. highway.
Indiana Conservation Officer Alex Neel, who serves Lake County, has been selected as the 2020 District 10 Indiana Conservation Officer of the Year. He has served as a conservation officer for three years.
