You are cordially invited to the Opening Reception of
WAYS OF SEEING
Elena Grey and Adam Johnson
Friday, October 16th * 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Marshall J Gardner Center for the Arts
540 S. Lake St., Gary, IN 46403
Michigan-based artist Elena Gray combines a myriad of printmaking techniques with painting to create richly layered compositions on canvas and wood panels. Her art delves into themes of girlhood, home, memory, gaze, and duality, drawing inspiration from photographs she collects or captures of friends and family.
Adam Johnson, a regional photographer, presents a series of street photographs from Seoul, Korea, taken during his time there as an Air Force member. His images focus on observing moments as they unfold, preserving both the subject’s privacy and the integrity of the scene.
