Towle Youth Theater Ensemble presents Chicago, The Musical (High School Edition)

Chicago is directed and choreographed by Managing Director Jeff Casey and Musical Direction by Elizabeth Tuazon. Chicago is sponsored by John F. In roaring twenties Chicago, chorine Roxie Hart murders a faithless lover and convinces her hapless husband, Amos, to take the rap...until he finds out he's been duped and turns on Roxie. Convicted and sent to death row, Roxie and another "Merry Murderess," Velma Kelly, vie for the spotlight and the headlines, ultimately joining forces in search of the "American Dream": fame, fortune, and acquittal.

The cast of Chicago (High School Edition) is comprised of students from area Junior High and High Schools and several area Home Schools.  The cast includes Dori Clousing (Munster), Aramis Cordova (Chicago), Rachel Davids (Schererville), Jamie DeJoan (Munster), Sydney Delisle (St. John), Noel Fary (Hammond), Michael Fugger (Lansing, IL), Anna Kirsch (Fair Oaks), Jackson Lopez (Schererville), Mikey McDunn (Munster), Vanessa Merola (Hobart), Adam Mohrs (Munster), Elias Moreno (Crown Point), Jane Potter (Munster), Emma Powell (Whiting), Alyssa Sangueza (Munster), Karah Sikora (Schererville), Jack Sullivan (Munster), Nora Wragg (Lansing, IL) and Assistant Director, Aidan McGuire (Mokena, IL).

The production runs October 18-20, 25-27.  Fridays – Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm.  Tickets are $10 and can be purchased by calling the Towle Theater box office at 219-937-8780 or visit www.towletheater.org.  Order tickets soon as the shows will sell out.
