September 4-27 "Medley of Art: the richness of living in community" is a group show featuring a diverse group of 10 artists from Chicago, Dallas, Peoria and throughout NWI, a live dance performance and a book signing with three authors.
This series of events begins on Friday September 4th with an Opening Reception and artist talk with community participation. Artists featured are: Lilliana Attinasi, Derrock Burnett, Deidre Dixon, Alex Garcia, Saundra Goldsby, Jesse Johnson, Traz Kozcacuauhtli Juarez, Ismael (Ish) Muhammad Nieves, Billy Simmons, and Keila Strong
The live dance performance will include artists drawing or painting as inspired by the dancers of South Shore Dance Alliance on Saturday September 19th 6:30pm.
September 26th will feature a book signing event featuring newly published books by Tyrell Anderson’s Seven Seasons, Deidre Dixon’s A Journey to Wholeness, Fulfillment & Peace, and Samuel A Love’s The Gary Anthology.
Gallery hours are: Fridays and Saturdays 6-8pm, Sundays 2-4pm
Due to covid restrictions, masks and social distancing are required. We are fortunate to have a very large space so it is easy to maintain social distancing in our 5,000 sq foot gallery.
A $5 fee is requested at the door.
