
“Lost in Yonkers,” a Neil Simon best, is the Marian Theatre Guild’s spring production under the direction of Jayma Kay Emerson.
IT’s the story of two young brothers who are sent to live with their strict and formidable grandmother in 1942. Softening the blow is their Aunt Bella, a childlike but mentally unstable woman. The boys also meet their small-time gangster Uncle Louie. They’re all searching for a hidden stash of money that could save them all.
Neil Simon won the prestigious Pulitzer Prize, and a Tony award for this memory play, “Lost in Yonkers.”
