On July 6th, the Munster Junior Woman’s Club held their annual meeting where they donated to many different causes and organizations throughout the region with funds that they had raised through the various fundraisers that they work on each year.
This year, their club generously presented K-9 Officer Brad Riemerts with a check for $3,500 towards the Munster Police Department’s K-9 Unit which was a result of the great fundraising event that they organized earlier this year at 313 Taproom. Thank you once again to the many people who organized, attended and supported that event in support of our K-9 Unit and who helped to make it a great success.
In addition, their club also presented Sergeant James Ghrist with a $500 donation towards the Munster Police Department’s 31st Annual National Night Out Against Crime Celebration which is coming up in just three weeks.
We greatly appreciate the Munster Junior Woman’s Club for their continued, generous support of many of our police department’s community programs.
