
THREE IMPORTANT DATES RELATED TO THE PRIMARY:
- Monday, May 4, 2020: Voter registration ends
- Thursday, May 21, 2020: Deadline to apply for an absentee ballot to vote by mail
- Tuesday, June 2, 2020: Primary Election Day
YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO VOTE IN INDIANA IF:
- You are both a U.S. citizen and a resident of Indiana; and
- You will be at least 18 years of age on or before the next General or Municipal Election, and
- You are not currently in prison after being convicted of a crime; and
- You have lived in the precinct where you vote for at least 30 days prior to the election; and
- You are registered to vote.

- You can visit indianavoters.com to enter some basic information and find out if you are registered to vote.
- If you find you are not registered to vote, indianavoters.com is also the website that will let you get that done electronically.
VOTING BY MAIL (ABSENTEE):
- To vote by mail in the 2020 Indiana Primary Election, a registered voter must obtain, complete and submit a request form available here.
