Last night we finally made it to see Disney On Ice: Magic In The Stars. The show was sold out and I understand why! It has been a few years since our last Disney On Ice event. It has always been magical, and it still was magical last night. The evening’s review crew was myself and my younger two, ages 6 and 8. Mickey and his crew lead us on a journey through the stars visiting classic Disney favorites and current hit sensations.
The performances were amazing. The cast was huge and their efforts were grand. The performers’ talents are boundless; they skated, flipped, tricked, and performed aerial acrobatics all while wearing face masks, wigs and so many costume changes. My youngest, at one point in the evening, asked me how they could see what they were doing.
The kids and I were star struck with excitement at the start of every new story segment. The evening consisted of Cinderella to Aladdin to Wish, including favorites like Toy Story, Cars, Frozen 2, singing the hit songs we know and love. The most magical part for me as mom and parent, is hearing the children (and some adults) singing along to the anthems of their youth and wearing their best prince and princess attire. This truly is a captivating evening for Disney fans.
