Russell Thompkins & The New Stylistics are a legendary R&B group, built on the foundations of the Stylistics, one of the most iconic soul groups of the 1970s. Led by the incomparable Russell Thompkins, Jr., the group continues to perform hits that have defined a generation while innovating with new sounds for today’s audience. With a deep commitment to keeping the magic of the Stylistics alive, Russell Thompkins & The New Stylistics offer an authentic, heartfelt musical experience. For over five decades, the Stylistics have been synonymous with classic soul hits such as "You Are Everything," "Betcha by Golly, Wow," "I'm Stone in Love with You," and "Break Up to Make Up." As the group's original lead vocalist, Thompkins’ distinct falsetto has earned him a place among the most revered voices in R&B history. Now, under the banner of Russell Thompkins & The New Stylistics, he is bringing the magic of these timeless songs to new audiences, while preserving the essence of the Stylistics’ rich legacy.
Initially formed in 1962, the Dramatics first signed with Volt—then a part of Stax Records in Memphis—in 1969, but were dropped after one unsuccessful single. They found their fortune after re-signing in 1971, quickly becoming one of soul music’s supergroups with a string of hits that included “Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get,” “Get Up and Get Down,” “In the Rain,” “Hey You! Get Off My Mountain,” and “Fell for You.” The group moved over to Cadet Records in 1974 and the next year to ABC, where they charted such hits as “Me and Mrs. Jones,” “Be My Girl,” “I Can’t Get Over You,” “Shake It Well,” and (after ABC was absorbed by MCA in 1979) “Welcome Back Home.”
Enchantment is known for their smooth harmonies, heartfelt lyrics, and unforgettable hits such as "Gloria," "Sunshine," and "It’s You That I Need," Enchantment continues to captivate audiences with their unique blend of soul, funk, and R&B that has left a lasting impact on the music world. Formed in the 1970s, Enchantment became one of the most influential groups of their era, earning accolades for their exceptional musicality and emotional performances. Their smooth sound and lush arrangements have made them a fan favorite for generations. With an unwavering commitment to delivering the best in live performances, Enchantment is set to take fans on a musical journey, performing their classic hits while continuing to create new memories with their timeless style.
Ray, Goodman & Brown is an American R&B vocal group that originated in the mid-1960s as the Moments. The group achieved its greatest success during the 1970s, scoring hits such as “Love on a Two-Way Street,” “Sexy Mama,” and “Look at Me (I’m in Love).” In 1978, the group changed its name to Ray, Goodman & Brown and continued to find success with songs including “Special Lady.” The group released its debut album, Not on the Outside, But on the Inside, Strong!, in 1969. The album spent 22 weeks on Billboard’s R&B Albums chart, reaching No. 8 on July 4, 1970.
