Cubs-Cardinals games update
The three-game series between the Cubs and Cardinals, originally scheduled for August 7-9 at Busch Stadium, will be rescheduled as part of three doubleheaders at Wrigley Field. Each doubleheader will consist of the originally scheduled game at Wrigley Field, as well as one makeup from last weekend’s scheduled series. Since the makeups are Cardinals home games, the Cubs will be the home team for Game 1 of each doubleheader, while the Cardinals will be the home team for Game 2 of each doubleheader. Both games of the doubleheaders will be seven innings in length.
The first doubleheader will be played Monday, August 17, beginning at 4:15 p.m. CDT. The second doubleheader will be played Wednesday, August 19, beginning at 1:20 p.m. CDT. The third doubleheader will be played Saturday, September 5, beginning at 4:15 p.m. CDT.
