Grants of up to $50,000 will be awarded for innovative ideas that are bold and provide an "out-of-the-box" approach to addressing issues arising from COVID-19.
Requests must focus on meeting the needs of communities and populations that have been most severely impacted by COVID-19 and who have been historically marginalized and under-served in our country.

Nonprofit Capacity Building Grants
Lake County foundations (Legacy Foundation, Crown Point Community Foundation, and Foundations of East Chicago) partner to build nonprofit capacity. Grants will cover the cost of plans for emergency preparedness or strategic restructuring, up to $5,000.
Grants for emergency preparedness are intended to assist organizations in being better equipped to work remotely, communicate with supporters digitally, or bring on consultants for preparedness assessments.
The strategic restructuring grants are intended to support organizations as they assess, negotiate, design, and/or implement more effective and efficient programs and procedures.
