
They discussed the issues that affect both arts institutions and individual artists, including the difficulties that are being faced by artists right now as the federal unemployment funding expires.
One act with great potential is the push for $10 billion in the Save Our Stages Act which would provide funding for individual artists and for small and medium sized arts venues. This could go a long way towards saving our industry. If you have not contacted your representatives to express your support, we encourage you to do so. It is essential that they hear from you and know that they are doing what their constituents want and how important these steps are to you.

All performances take place on the grounds of the Mayslake Peabody Estate, which is owned and operated by the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County. Indoor shows are presented in Mayslake Hall, a 30-room Tudor Revival style mansion originally built by coal baron Francis S. Peabody. Completed in 1922, the mansion is on the National Registry of Historic Places.
