Chesterton Art Center is offering a newly expanded, seven-week series of Summer Art Camps and Teen Studio Intensives! This series of summer programming for ages 5-18 highlights various art techniques and media, and involves discussions about modern artists. All programs follow a unique theme that directs the fine art projects students will take home at the end of the week.
This year, CAC introduces a new series of special studio intensives just for teens, ages 13+. Each intensive focuses on a specific media and is designed to challenge students to elevate their current skills or explore an entirely new media.
“With the expanded schedule highlighting a fantastic variety of media, we hope that students of all ages feel encouraged to spend their summer creating at CAC!” says Jillian Bridgeman, Education Director of Chesterton Art Center.
There is a total of 14 different sessions to choose from, each topic catering to different interests and age groups, ranging from ages 5-9, 9-12, 10+, and 13+. Morning (8:30-11 AM) and afternoon (12-2:30 PM) options are available depending on the session and age range.
