Think you have what it takes to be crowned the Welter’s Folly Match Play Champion? Join us for our 2nd Annual Match Play Putting Championship, where 32 competitors will battle through a bracket-style tournament for the chance to earn permanent bragging rights.
Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or simply love a little friendly competition, this event is designed for all skill levels. Every putt counts as you work your way toward the championship match and a spot on the Welter’s Folly Champions Board.
Event Schedule
10:30 AM – Opening announcements and first-round matches begin
Approximately 12:30 PM – Complimentary snacks for all competitors
Following the championship match – Awards presentation and champion recognition
Tournament Format
- Individual competition (no partner required)
- Limited to the first 32 registered players
- Random NCAA-style bracket seeding (no qualifying round)
- Single-elimination championship bracket
- Players eliminated from the championship bracket will continue in a consolation bracket to compete for 3rd Place
- 18-hole match play
- Championship and consolation winners determined by match play

Registration
Registration is limited to the first 32 players and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
After registration closes, all competitors will receive their tournament bracket, match schedule, and final event details by email prior to tournament day.
