Need to Know:
Introducing Read-Aloud Books
We have a brand new collection of books that read themselves! Each book has a speaker built in to the cover so that kids (or anyone learning to read) can hear the words out loud as they turn pages.
You can check out two at a time. Pick them up in the Youth section at your favorite branch, or head to our catalog and search read-aloud books to place your hold!
Featured Program:
Creative Arts Summit applications are open!
Apply to show your creative work at LCPL's upcoming Creative Arts Summit! The summit will take place May 21 from noon to 4 PM at Merrillville Branch. We're looking for artists, musicians, writers, and other creators of all kinds to join us in a celebration of the arts.
Network with other creators, sell to the public, and showcase your work! Spaces are limited and applications close March 25. Go to www.lcplin.org/cas for more details and to apply.
