Archaeologist: Principal Investigator/Field Director

The qualified candidate will preferably have a Master’s Degree in Anthropology with a focus on Archaeology and must meet the Secretary of the Interior's Standards (36 CFR 61) in archaeology. Individuals with field experience and a desire to advance their career path will also be considered.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading Phase I surveys;
  • Conducting Phase Ib, Ic, and II testing;
  • Working on Phase III mitigation projects;
  • Writing and editing reports
  • Conducting QAQC on peer’s documents;
  • Helping analyze artifacts;
  • Providing leadership/mentoring for younger staff.
