After almost 20 years, Mixdesign, Inc is moving out of Schererville, IN as it expands its design build operation. The 18-year-old branding and experience design company has selected Hebron, Indiana as its new home. The new location is conveniently five minutes east of I65 on 231 and will house design space, a large showroom, an expanded wood and building shop as well as doubling as a rentable event space for up to 300 people.

Our entrance gates will be back open at all properties, so bring your annual pass or plan to pay a daily gate fee.

During the past week, each of this semester’s Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) Award winners at Eads, Elliott, and Frank Hammond                   Elementary School were provided with gift bags which were dropped off at their residences by D.A.R.E. Officer James Ghrist.  

During the past five weeks and in response to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the Munster Police and Fire Departments provided approximately 120 birthday   parades for children in 5th grade or younger.  

With the recent passing of Indiana House Bill 1065, the Gary Community School Corporation is seeking the community's input on how school improvement funds should be used.

Staff from the Putnamville Correctional Facility (ISF) teamed up with 2020 Rosie’s of the Wabash Valley and Precision Imagining Centers of Northeast Florida to provide residents and staff of the Cloverleaf Nursing Home in Brazil, Indiana with much needed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
