As we all know, Opening Day at the Friendly Confines is truly special. Considered an annual family reunion and unofficial holiday by many, the return of Cubs baseball means we’ve weathered another Chicago winter, welcomed the arrival of spring and are ready to embrace new beginnings. While this still holds true, today’s Opening Day is unlike any other we’ve experienced.
The COVID-19 public health crisis is impacting how we work in significant ways. We know navigating the changes and restrictions will continue to be a challenge. As the state's proponent for the arts and their impact in our communities, we're bringing the arts community together to rally and support each other in statewide conference calls to share information, resources and best practices.

Record requests, such as police reports, accident reports, gun permits, vehicle releases, etc. can and should be done via telephone or e-mail. Direct support professionals are needed to provide critical care for older Hoosiers and those with disabilities. And child care providers are needed to care for children of first responders, health care and other essential workers, so the rest of us can stay safe and healthy.
