SPF, Chicago’s largest dedicated indoor pickleball facility, and Meet IRL, the city’s premiere singles events company, today announced a new monthly Singles Friday Night Takeover series beginning Friday, October 11 from 6 to 11 p.m. Taking place on the second Friday of each month, the event aims to bring together Chicago’s community of singles, encouraging quality, in-person connection in a fun, casual environment.
Attendees can choose between three ticket options – Beginner, which includes a 7 or 8 p.m. class led by Toss & Spin instructors; Novice and Experienced, which includes an Open Play session with a series of mini games with different partners; and General Admission, which grants access to the social event and all off-court activities, plus open pickleball play after 9 p.m.
Throughout the event, singles can get to know each other over a friendly pickleball game, and with additional off-court activities including bocce, air hockey, pop-a-shot, cornhole and more. Guests can also take advantage of SPF’s state-of-the-art amenities and courts and enjoy drinks at the full bar featuring a wide range of cocktails and mocktails. The first 100 guests will receive a complimentary drink, courtesy of Long Drink and Ivy Hall will provide complimentary sampling throughout the evening.
